Up early. Coffee at the Grant’s (they had left for their last day of work—Bonnie is a principal and Gordon an administrator). The four of us (Luke, Diane, Suz, and I) walked to Patrick’s Place for breakfast after it stopped raining. We had a great breakfast complete with real maple syrup and fresh eggs.
Then Suz and I said goodbye to Luke and Diane who started back to Montreal. Suz and I did a couple of loads of wash and then went grocery shopping for dinner. We bought the ingredients for a big taco salad. Dinner that night was taco salad, good sliced bread, and for dessert frozen yogurt and strawberries.
We held off on our dessert while we four and Maggie dog took a walk to a lovely park on the Third Fork of the White River. Then, over dessert we tried to plan the next leg(s) of our adventure. We didn’t get much farther than crossing NH on 2 and entering southern Maine. We shall see what appeals as we go.
